As the cultural heartbeat of the North, The Republic Cultural Centre (TRCC) brings people together through the shared experience of the arts. From student showcases to community festivals, TRCC is where creativity comes to life. Our venues offer aspiring performers a space to grow, collaborate and connect with audiences through theatre, music, dance and visual arts. Designed by Maki & Associates (Japan), TRCC blends elegant architecture with practical functionality. Under its distinctive fan-shaped roof, it houses two main performance spaces: a 1,111-seat Theatre and a 346-seat Studio. These are supported by rehearsal rooms, studios and recording facilities that enrich learning and artistic development. TRCC is also home to CREATE Club, which comprises 23 performing arts CCAs spanning music, dance, drama, visual arts and culture. Each year, we present three signature festivals: Momentum Dance Festival, IGNITE! Music Festival and the Reflections Community Arts Festival, all celebrating student talent and local artistry.
